Sixty Programs for the Commodore 64 published in 1983 by Pan Books/Personal Computer News. This book is in excellent condition. As close to mint as a 22 year old book can be. Even the spine is uncreased. Just 1 inch of wrinkling on the edge of the cover and the first 10 leaves.
Only 11 of these programs are in the Gamebase at www.gamebase64.com so get typing, send them in and you could be part of C64 history (just like Frank;D).
Read on.
Remember the days when you used to rush home on Saturday with your copy of C&VG or Commodore User under your arm, fire up your C64 and start eagerly typing in the listing for the latest "great" game because you couldn't afford the 10 WHSmith wanted for Arcadia. Then look back fondly on the three days it took you to debug the program. And of course, at Christmas, as you looked forward to unwrapping your new tape, you found that your parents had bought you a book with yet more listings because they thought you enjoyed it.
Relive those days with 'Sixty Programs for the Commodore 64'. As the blurb on the back says:-
A massive software library for the price of a single cassette. Explosive games, dynamic graphics and invaluable utilities, this specially commissioned collection takes BASIC to the limits and beyond.
Four of the country's best-selling software writers have pooled their talents to bury programming cliches and exploit your micro's potential to the full.
Whether you are a games player or a more serious user, here's the book to make your micro work for you.
373 pages of type in heaven. Bid now or lose it forever!
