Well.. i've heard Martin's music in full, and its fantastic... a superb set of tunes... Not only that, but we have found out some more bits on the obscure Ocean game...
1) The game was being also developed in 1985 by someone else for Ocean (Names soon), a sideways scroller, which was scrapped.. but Martin did the music for it (Which is labelled Streethawk Prototype on the CD)
2)The second version (Which we have reviewed) was by someone called Colin at Ocean in 1986, who, with Steve Wahid on graphics, took too long to covert the game and pissed Ocean off too much to release it. The game was 99% complete before being cancelled. Colin was sacked afterwards. Martin's 1985 prototype music was updated for this game using extra techniques he picked up since.
3)Martin has contacts still with the guys behind the conversion, and has offered to help talk to them, so we can possibly dig out the game itself (maybe even V1 aswell).
Wouldn't it be cool to find the game, and then get someone to put the music in?....
More developments as they happen...
