Yeah I was gonna say the CS URL didn't work earlier but you seem to have spotted that Btw according to my sources, Streethawk on the C64 was actually finished. It was never published due, as was said, to it being utterly crap...

Just having a random wander - in the Hugh Riley interview, isn't the Dominator loading pic by Dokk...?

hold on a flip!
I am sure Streek Hawk was published and also released on an Ocean compilation!
Or am I thinking of the Speccy version?

That happened a lot - compilations had to replace/change games that weren't available on a particular format. (Another example - one of the Konami/Imagine compilations replaced Jackal with Iron Horse because there was no C64 version of Jackal)

T.M.R... a miscredit again somewhere?... I may have miscredited the picture, but where did I do that this time? ;D Mayhem... I'm not too surprised it was after the dire Knight Rider.... Actually, i must check the credits of these games to get some names... I wonder though if Martin actually has the game himself.. or a preview of it to work the music to. Vinny... speccy compilation i'm afraid .... C64 only had a hack released

Just a thought.. but did Jackel actually have two versions created....I'm sure Mark Cooksey did music for one version.
I swear i've seen two different versions.

Yup, Jackal Euro and USA were two different versions and Mark Cooksey did the music for the former. i remember it getting reviewed and panned in a mag, possibly Zzap! but don't quote me... shoot.cjb.net in the "Vehicle Overhead" section for screens and downloads of both. Frank: in the Hugh Riley interview, there's a screenshot of the Dominator loading pic - Hugh did the ingame graphics but i believe that pic is Dokk's work...? From what i remember reading, Martin Galway may not have even seen Streethawk when he was doing the music, it was being coded off-site and (if what he's said about Miami Vice or Highlander are anything to go by) the games just turned up without sound when they were complete... Another one that springs to mind; flipping through shoot.cjb.net after looking up Jackal i noticed Inner Space - did that actually get a commercial release, i don't remember seeing it anywhere...?

They're the ones ... sure I saw them someplace I think you're right about the Dominator pic... though it was mainly to emphasis that he did work on the game... I will see about changing it to an ingame shot though... I'll ask Martin when I see him, if I get a chance to even talk to the guy Not sure about Inner Space either... CRL seemed to have disapeared aroudn 1988/89... Mayhem is probably the one who can answer that one

It's in GB64, so I figure I should have a copy of it on my HD at home then. Can't say I ever saw it in the shops, but then again, I wasn't buying CRL games (aka Crap Released Ltd)...

It wasn't to be directly released under the CRL name, the loading screen has a different company name if memory serves...? Bloody awful game anyway and i swear most of the sprites are ripped... =-)
