Your Commodore 64 nickname or handle ............. how and why did you pick it (eg TMR, Enigma, Merman, Mayhem etc)? Good question eh? I don't have a nickname .............. well I do, but I am sure you can work out why I am called Knobhead and Wanker Actually, I did call myself Hacker/Hackersoft which was actually thought up by my ex-next door neighgbour .... neigbour ...... neighbor .... ah fak it, the bloke next door (Russ). He purchased SEUCK on the day it came out and brought it round my house for me to produce the games from his ideas. It never worked out like that and he got into synth music whilst I continued on with the C64. Who's next?

Merman - well, my real surname is Fisher and I got called names like "Fish face" and "fish-boy" at school. When I started programming, I wanted to find a good handle, so I thought - half man, half fish - MERMAN!

Well... "Enigma" goes back to my first ever school report.... Due to being a child who suffered bad from Hyperactivity (Something they didn't know too much about in them days)... my first teacher, an old lady of about 50-60, had a soft spot for me and understood that I had this problem... Though in my report, she described me as "something of an Enigma to her".... when first reading it, I asked my mum what it mean't, and she told me it mean't a "Puzzle", so when it came to thinking of an handle... "Enigma" kind of fitted, especially as most people who know me think of me as one still

Which one...? =-)
Bada was a school nickname, something that Tony Hart's plasticine friend Morph said (the nickname was because i talked too fast =-)
i took Shamus from the Cathryn Mataga game of the same name, i was hooked on the VIC20 version... Nothing was released under this name but i did original supply The Mad Mekon for a while and i'm greeted in the loader scroll from Cosine's Gallery when i joined.
T.C.M. was thought up by Skywave 'cos he hated the name Shamus and it's a contraction of The Cybernetic Man. A few people contacted me thinking i was Charles Deenen (T.M.C.)...!
And T.M.R comes from an Amiga module i did, a sample of the Magic Roundabout theme over a drum loop. It's the only thing of interest i did on the Amiga (apart from the Creative Edge logo at the front of Eurosoccer) and was released during my "quiet" years (between 1989 to 1993) so when i "rebranded" myself to release Lethargy i decided to get a less "normal" handle. T.M.R is ten this year, the first use of the name was Leth and the latest will be our dentro Ikaruga on the Plus/4 in a couple of days time... =-)

My handle used to be 'The Last Ninja', when I joined Hokuto Force as a intro coder, but I decided to change the handle to my real forename (Richard) as I wasn't comfortable enough being known as T.L.N!

When I am not in the Commodore 64 world, but at work. I have a -very- strange (and rather teasing) nickname. It is "Polly". Why is that you may ask? I put the kettle on for the staff, at break time ;D I did not really like the nickname, Polly, so I stopped putting the kettle on, for a short while !!
